Pheu Thai's criticism came just ahead of an information exhibition on the government's 2015 achievements scheduled to begin on December 23.

Pheu Thai's report raised many issues that the party said needed to be assessed in order to have a constructive perspective for the benefit of the country.

In the report, Pheu Thai questioned the military government's sincerity in fighting corruption as government officials themselves are facing corruption charges.

The party cited cases such as the purchase of microphones for the cabinet meeting room at a cost of 140,000 baht each, the Rajabhakti Park monument project scandal, and even a 5 billion baht program to support villages in rural Thailand was raised with questions.

Pheu Thai has been particularly critical of the government's inability to pull the country out of economic recession, saying that Prayut's government lacks the knowledge and capacity to solve the country's economic problems./.
