(Baonghean.vn) - The Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery is located in the center of Anh Son district, gathering more than 11,000 remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in Laos. Of these, about 3,500 graves have names and hometowns, while the rest have unknown names and addresses.

On the morning of July 22, towards the 72nd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2019), a working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee led by Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council offered incense and flowers at the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery, and presented gifts to outstanding people in Anh Son district.
