Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee visited the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs Cemetery and celebrated Tet in Anh Son district
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 31, comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee offered incense to commemorate heroic martyrs at the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs Cemetery; visited and wished a Happy New Year to a number of units and households in Anh Son district.

Also attending were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Police, the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Provincial Ethnic Committee, the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; and leaders of Anh Son district.
Offering incense and fragrant flower baskets in front of Uncle Ho's shrine, the working delegation of Anh Son province and district expressed their sincere respect and deep gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their blood and bones for the Fatherland's peace and development; for the Vietnam - Laos international friendship "forever green, forever lasting".

The delegation also held a flower and incense offering ceremony at the martyrs' monument and at the martyrs' graves; expressing infinite gratitude for the great sacrifices of the heroic martyrs.

During two resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism, Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and Vietnamese military experts performed noble international duties in Laos.
The Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery is the gathering and resting place of more than 11,000 martyrs who were Vietnamese officials, experts and volunteer soldiers who fought and sacrificed in Laos. They devoted their youth to the friendly country of Laos, for the noble international duty, for the progress of the times.



On this occasion, the delegation presented gifts and wished a Happy New Year to the staff of the Vietnam-Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery Management Board. On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Nguyen Van Thong emphasized: The task of managing the cemetery and taking care of the graves of heroic martyrs is a noble task; at the same time, it spreads the good morals of "When drinking water, remember its source", "Forever grateful to the martyrs" of the nation and so that the relatives and families of the martyrs can rest in peace.
Therefore, we hope that the officers and employees of the Cemetery Management Board will continue to take care of and perform their duties well. Wishing the officers, employees and their families a healthy and happy new year!

Visit and wish Happy New Year to some units and individuals
Within the framework of the working program in Anh Son district, the provincial delegation visited and wished Happy New Year to the police officers of Phuc Son commune.
Speaking at the New Year's greetings to the police officers of Phuc Son commune, comrade Nguyen Van Thong expressed his joy that although the policy of bringing regular police to the commune of the Ministry of Public Security is a new model with new conditions and difficult circumstances, the Phuc Son commune police have invested in building a new headquarters; especially the regular police force at the grassroots level has quickly adapted, quickly approached the work, effectively contributing to maintaining security, order and social safety in the area.

Sharing that the area has many potential factors for law violations and crimes; at the same time acknowledging and praising the results achieved by Phuc Son Commune Police in 2023, contributing to maintaining border security and social order and safety in the area, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also hoped that the officers of Phuc Son Commune Police would continue to focus their intelligence and time to complete the assigned tasks; continue to maintain the commune to meet the standards of "Drug-free commune".
In addition to the efforts of the Commune Police, comrade Nguyen Van Thong also requested the leaders and political system in Phuc Son Commune to closely coordinate with local forces to find better and more effective solutions, for the goal of ensuring national security and social order and safety in the area.

On this occasion, the provincial delegation presented gifts and wished a Happy New Year to officials, civil servants and workers of Phuc Son commune. The delegation also visited and wished a Happy New Year to war invalid 2/4 Nguyen Trung Phon in village 8, Khai Son commune; wished a Happy New Year to a prestigious person in the community in Cao Veu 4 village, Phuc Son commune - Mr. Lo Minh Tien; wished a Happy New Year to a family in especially difficult circumstances, Mr. Nguyen Huu Luong in village 8, Long Son commune. The provincial delegation also presented 10 Tet gifts to 10 poor and disadvantaged households in Phuc Son commune.
