Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee works with leaders of advisory and support agencies

Complete consultation on many important contents

In the second quarter of 2024, the advisory and support agencies of the Provincial Party Committee advised and assisted the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee in leading and directing the successful completion of tasks, work programs and unexpected tasks according to the direction of the Central Government in the second quarter.

In particular, the agencies have advised on the implementation of programs and projects as assigned in Action Program No. 68-CTr/TU, dated November 12, 2023 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee to implement Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW, dated July 18, 2023 of the Politburo on building and developing Nghe An province to 2030, with a vision to 2045; reviewing and summarizing resolutions, directives and regulations of the Central Government and the province to ensure procedures and quality.

The departments, the Provincial Party Committee Office, and the Provincial Party Committee Inspection Committee have focused on implementing and completing well the tasks under the direction of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee at the meeting of advisory and support agencies of the Provincial Party Committee in the first quarter of 2024; coordinated to advise on the implementation of Regulation No. 137-QD/TW, dated December 6, 2023 of the Secretariat on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of advisory and support agencies of the Provincial Party Committee and City Party Committee.

At the same time, develop specialized reports as requested by the Central Government and sectors; coordinate and urge relevant departments, sectors and units to carefully and qualitatively prepare content to serve the working program of the Standing Committee, Standing Committee and Provincial Party Executive Committee.

The agencies have also strictly implemented working regulations and democratic regulations within the agency; internal solidarity; ensured agency living order; actively participated in movements and activities launched by the agency and superior trade unions...

At the meeting, leaders of the advisory and support agencies of the Provincial Party Committee reported and reviewed the results of activities in the second quarter, coordination between agencies; and proposed and recommended to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee contents to improve work efficiency.

Advise on the effective implementation of Directive 35 of the Politburo and Resolution 137 of the National Assembly.

In his concluding remarks, acknowledging the results achieved in the second quarter of this year, comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the spirit of initiative, understanding, sharing, and effective collaboration in the process of performing specific monthly and quarterly tasks of the agencies, so despite the large and important workload, the implementation has ensured quality and progress.

After noting to overcome some shortcomings and limitations, the Standing Deputy Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee emphasized a number of key tasks in the third quarter of 2024.

In particular, he noted the need to focus on consulting work so that the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee can lead and direct the implementation of Resolution No. 39 of the Politburo on building and developing Nghe An province to 2030, with a vision to 2045, and especially the implementation of Resolution No. 137 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Nghe An province, which has just been approved.

In the context of the short time to implement Resolution 137 (5 years), the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that the agencies, based on their functions and tasks, proactively advise the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee to lead and direct the political system and the people to make good use of the opportunities and chances to ensure effective implementation.

Comrade Nguyen Van Thong suggested that, based on experience and lessons learned from advising and directing Party congresses at all levels in previous terms, combined with new contents and requirements, agencies should proactively develop plans and advise the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Party Executive Committee to lead and direct the implementation of tasks in Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee also emphasized the importance of coordinating work between the departments of the Provincial Party Committee, the Office, and the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee in a proactive and specific spirit, with regular exchanges. If necessary, the departments will work together to develop specific annual plans to ensure continuous communication and unity, and timeliness in advising the Party Committee in implementing activities and handling specific situations that arise.

Basically agreeing with the tasks of the agencies in the third quarter, the Standing Deputy Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee noted some specific key contents.

In particular, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department needs to continue to strengthen propaganda on preparations for Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.

The Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee advises the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee in directing Party congresses at all levels, as well as establishing and perfecting sub-committees to prepare for congresses in the process of preparing for grassroots congresses as soon as possible.

Along with that, the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee paid attention to the work of grasping the situation, training, guiding, giving specific instructions, and handling situations for the grassroots, especially in implementing personnel plans for congresses at all levels in the context of urgently and resolutely implementing administrative reforms, rearranging administrative units, and streamlining staffing.

The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission needs to strengthen coordination with the Standing agencies of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negative Matters to resolve a number of major cases that have been prosecuted, have information for handling, or follow the coordination program of the Central Inspection Commission with the Central Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negative Matters.

The Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission focuses on serving the preparation work for Party congresses at all levels, especially in grasping and working with relevant agencies to handle any arising situations to ensure peace for people in all areas, especially mountainous and special areas; as well as promoting the role of the political system at all levels in propagating and implementing specific tasks to prepare for Party congresses at all levels.

The Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee proactively coordinates, reviews, accurately and promptly grasps to resolve and advise on the direction of resolving complaints and denunciations in accordance with the provisions of law, so as not to affect general security and order, and affect the preparation of Party congresses at all levels, especially at the grassroots level.

The Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee also continues to advise and direct the handling of anti-corruption cases and incidents in the direction list of the Provincial Steering Committee and key, important, and complicated cases with great impact but not yet completely handled.

Regarding the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee noted to continue reviewing and advising, focusing on the work plan so that the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee can direct the effective implementation of the Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress and regular, daily tasks.
