Through on-site inspection, localities have effectively implemented flood and storm prevention and control work; well implemented the 4 on-site plans. People have proactively reinforced their houses. From the evening of September 14 to the morning of September 15, more than 400 households in Chau Tien, Chau Thanh, Lien Hop, Chau Loc, Chau Cuong communes... have been evacuated to safe places.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong and the delegation visited and presented necessities to households that had to be relocated and evacuated in Chau Hong, Chau Loc, and Lien Hop communes.
According to the report of the District Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Prevention and Control, as of 3:00 p.m. this afternoon, there have been no casualties in Quy Hop District. Currently, the amount of rain is increasing, the water level in rivers, streams, lakes and dams is rising, some traffic routes, crop areas, and low-lying areas have been partially flooded.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee reminded Quy Hop district not to be subjective and to update information on the situation after the storm, because after a storm, mountainous areas often have prolonged heavy rains causing landslides, flash floods, inundation... It is necessary to arrange forces to block and carefully guard key traffic routes with spillways and irrigation works.

In particular, local businesses, especially mining businesses, need to move people, machinery and equipment to safe locations; assign local forces to proactively respond, focus on developing plans to protect aquaculture areas, vegetables, rice, and flood control after the storm, contributing to minimizing damage to people and property of local people./.
