Dissemination of National Assembly and People's Council elections to trade union reporters
(Baonghean.vn) – On the morning of April 14, Nghe An Civil Servants' Union held a conference of reporters for the first quarter of 2016.
Attending the conference were Mr. Tran Van Mao - Standing Member of the Provincial People's Council, representatives of the Provincial Labor Federation and reporters from 61 grassroots unions.
At the conference, delegates were informed about some new points on the election of the 14th National Assembly and the election of People's Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term, and a report on the results of the first quarter union activities and the second quarter tasks of 2016 of the Nghe An Civil Servants' Union.

Accordingly, in the first quarter of 2016, the movement of civil servants and public employees in grassroots unions under Nghe An Civil Servants' Union continued to perform well in implementing political tasks and activities to ensure social security.
Trade union activities at all levels have closely followed the work program, actively participated in implementing grassroots democracy regulations, administrative reform, and cared for and protected the legitimate rights and interests of civil servants and employees.

In addition, the propaganda and dissemination of laws have been promoted, contributing to raising political awareness among union members. After being decentralized by the Provincial Federation of Labor, financial work has gradually stabilized, creating conditions for unions at all levels to operate better.
In the second quarter of 2016, grassroots unions increased their participation in management and administrative reform; promoted awareness raising for civil servants and public employees; carried out emulation and encouraged civil servants and public employees to fulfill their political tasks well; promoted the development of union members and built strong union organizations; continued to urge union financial work, in which units must deduct 2% of union funds and promptly pay the full amount to the grassroots, striving to collect and pay union funds to achieve 100% of the results in 6 months.
