(Baonghean.vn) - On November 13, the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district coordinated with the People's Committee of An Hoa commune to organize a ceremony to receive the Certificate of ranking as a provincial historical relic for the Nguyen Huu family's great temple.

The Nguyen Huu family's great temple used to be located in Quy Hoa village, Hoan Hau commune, Quynh Luu district, Dien Chau prefecture, Nghe An town (now An Hoa commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province).
The temple was built by descendants to worship ancestors and descendants of typical families such as: Thai Bao Hoang Quoc Cong Nguyen Cong Duan; Grandmother Ngoc Dung Giao Xa Que Hoa Princess and Mr. Nguyen Huu Cuong.

The Nguyen Huu family temple is a spiritual work that crystallizes many precious historical and cultural values. The relic is the place where many local historical events took place such as: Meetings, food storage for the resistance war, and a gathering place for people to hide, waiting to evacuate to safe areas, avoiding enemy attacks in the years 1948 - 1949. The relic is currently preserving many documents such as royal decrees, genealogies, parallel sentences, wooden signs...

With the historical and cultural values of the relic, the People's Committee of Nghe An province has issued a Decision to rank the Nguyen Huu family's great temple as a provincial historical relic. This is to remember, honor and pay tribute to the worshiped figures associated with the cultural traditions and development history of the family and the locality, while also creating a legal basis for preserving and promoting the values of the relic./.
