Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien works in Tan Ky

(Baonghean.vn) On the afternoon of June 28, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien had a working session with leaders of Tan Ky district on the construction progress of Phu Son bridge project in the area.

Before working, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the delegation inspected the actual construction progress of Phu Son Bridge connecting Nghia Hanh commune to Phu Son commune, Tan Ky district.

This project started construction in 2008 but has not been completed due to lack of funding. Currently, 85% of the project has been completed.

Next, the delegation inspected the roads and drainage system of Tan Ky town.

At the meeting, representatives of Tan Ky district leaders reported on the implementation of traffic projects in the area, stating some difficulties and obstacles due to lack of capital, so the construction progress of some projects is slow, such as Phu Son Bridge project, Khe Than Bridge project in Tien Ky commune; Infrastructure project of small industrial cluster in Nghia Dung commune.

Tan Ky district proposed to the Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments to support Tan Ky with funding to install two more traffic light systems and to upgrade and expand the road section from Truong Dong, the gateway to Tan Ky district, which has many winding sections and narrow roads.

After listening to the recommendations of Tan Ky district, representatives of provincial departments and branches proposed a number of solutions to help Tan Ky district gradually overcome difficulties.

Concluding the working session, comrade Huynh Thanh Dien requested the Phu Son bridge construction unit to overcome difficulties, focus on construction and strive to complete and put into use before September 2017.

Currently, this project has 15% of the project volume, needing capital of about 5 billion VND. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the relevant Departments to add to the Medium-term capital plan for the period 2016-2020, helping Tan Ky to complete the Phu Son bridge project soon, in addition to continuing to upgrade the road and drainage system of Tan Ky town's inner-city road, the spillway project of the small industrial cluster of Nghia Dung commune.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant departments and branches to add to the plan to repair and upgrade Doc Truong Dong road, the gateway of Tan Ky district in 2018 and approve the policy of installing 2 traffic light systems./.
