As planned, on the evening of April 17, Nghe An will continue to welcome a flight carrying 226 Vietnamese citizens returning from Korea, after welcoming 224 citizens returning from Japan on the evening of April 14. 78 people will be quarantined at Muong Thanh Con Cuong Hotel; 148 people will be quarantined at the Reserve Training Center.
Immediately after the Vietnamese citizens returning from Korea arrived at the quarantine areas, the provincial Center for Disease Control sent staff and technicians to promptly collect samples, conduct tests to get the earliest results and apply the best possible treatment plan. There are many children in the group of Vietnamese citizens returning from Korea, so medical units also need to prepare a number of medicines and treatment plans in case the children get sick or hurt during the quarantine period.
When there is a positive or pathological case, it must be transferred to the Southwest Regional General Hospital and the Tropical Disease Center of Nghe An General Hospital for immediate treatment and isolation. The health sector, localities, and isolation units need to have a transportation plan to ensure safety in preventing the Covid-19 epidemic. In addition, the treatment of daily household waste in the isolation area requires supervision and disinfection from the collection, transportation to treatment stages.
