On the morning of November 13, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam participated in a cleaning program at Linh Dam Lake public area, Hoang Mai district, Hanoi.
Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam was present very early, dividing tools and working with volunteers to divide into groups, clean up trash, clear wild bushes... The Deputy Prime Minister also encouraged and shared with the volunteers who are students from schools in Hanoi: "Young people and the community need to be more aware of their role and responsibility in protecting the environment, together building a green, clean and beautiful environment.
From the smallest things like keeping the schoolyard, lecture hall or neighborhood clean, beautiful, and free of trash. Sometimes just a click of the tongue, a moment of laziness can add a lot of trash to this city. Let's raise awareness, love and protect the environment together."
Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam also hopes that next year the campaign's activities will be organized on a larger scale and that there will be more and more "good people, good deeds" among young people.

The activity that the Deputy Prime Minister participated in was part of the campaign “Dance for Kindness - Orange Sun” taking place in Hanoi to celebrate World Kindness Week. “Dance for Kindness 2016 Vietnam” aims to raise awareness of kindness to the environment in addition to the message of kindness in general.
According to information from the Organizing Committee, there were about 4,000 people, including young people who are students of universities, colleges, and parents who also participated in this accompanying event. After three years of operation in Vietnam, the event "Dancing for Kindness" has expanded from Hanoi to 4 cities, with the number of participating members reaching 7,000 people of all ages.
