Coordinate well the organization of activities to celebrate the 'Vietnam - Laos Solidarity and Friendship Year'
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 10, a working delegation from Son La province worked with Nghe An province to agree on a number of contents for organizing activities to celebrate the "Vietnam - Laos Solidarity and Friendship Year 2017".

Working with Nghe An province, comrade Nguyen Dac Quynh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Son La province and the working delegation, together with the leaders of Nghe An province, agreed on a number of contents on the plan to organize related activities towards the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Laos.
| Attending the meeting, on the side of Son La province, there was comrade Nguyen Dac Quynh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation as head of the delegation. On the side of Nghe An province, there was comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Provincial People's Committee Office and a number of relevant departments and branches. |
Speaking at the meeting, comrade Nguyen Dac Quynh said that, implementing the direction of the National Steering Committee "Vietnam - Laos Solidarity and Friendship Year 2017", commemorating the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations (July 18, 1977 - July 18, 2017), Son La province was assigned to organize 3 activities including: Vietnam - Laos border tourism - culture - sports festival; inauguration of the Vietnam - Laos historical relic site in Yen Chau district, Son La province; Workshop on experience of activities of People's Councils at all levels of Vietnamese provinces sharing borders with Laos.
At the meeting, the two sides agreed on a number of organizational contents as well as the presentation, proposal for commendation and awarding of Medals to collectives and individuals of the provinces of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

Agreed to unify related contents to create conditions for the successful organization of activities towards the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Lao People's Democratic Republic; contributing to promoting increasingly strong diplomatic relations between the two countries and between the provinces of Laos and Vietnam that share a common border.
