Blockade of 12 households in Vinh Tan ward (Vinh city) related to new Covid-19 infection case

Information from the governmentVinh Tan ward, Vinh City said that after there was another positive case of Covid-19, the locality quickly locked down the patient's residence.

Specifically, the blockade area is part of Chau Hung block, Vinh Tan ward with a total of 12 households and 40 people.

After the blockade, the locality conducted disinfection spraying and took samples for testing of all residents in the area.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Manh - Chairman of Vinh Tan Ward People's Committee said: According to the initial epidemiological investigation, in the past 10 days, the patient has rarely gone out and had contact with strangers. Currently, the locality has identified 8 F1, who are relatives in the family and have taken them away.centralized quarantine, F1 number is still being coordinated with the authorities to continue tracing.

The new Covid-19 infected case is TTN; female; born in 1952; occupation: scrap trader at the wholesale market; address: Chau Hung hamlet, Vinh Tan ward, Vinh city. The patient went to buy scrap at the wholesale market on June 20 and 21; the remaining days she stayed at home and did not go anywhere. On July 4, after determining that the patient was in the pooled sample from suspected community screening, a sample was taken from the patient for confirmation, the result was positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
