Blockade of 21 households in Truong Thi ward related to 2 new Covid-19 infections

Information from the governmentTruong Thi wardVinh City said that the locality has locked down the residences of 2 Covid-19 infected cases in the area.

Specifically, the blockade area is located on Hoang Van Tam Street, Block 10, Truong Thi Ward with a total of 21 households and 79 people. The locality has set up checkpoints and disinfected the area.

It is known that these 2 patients are husband and wife, and have been to the house of patient LTTX.wholesale market traderto eat the death anniversary. Through initial epidemiological investigation, there were 11 cases of close contact with these 2 patients.

Currently, the Truong Thi ward authorities are coordinating with health agencies to take samples of all residents in the locked-down area on the night of August 18 and quarantine F1 cases according to regulations.

- Female LTTT patient, born in 1993. Address: Truong Thi, Vinh City. The patient is F1 of the previously announced LTTX patient. On August 15, the patient was quarantined at Quyet Thanh Hotel and had samples taken twice, the second time the result was confirmed positive for SARS-COV-2 virus.

- Patient TMN, male, born in 1986. Occupation: Vegetable and fruit wholesale market. Address: Truong Thi, Vinh City. Patient is F1 of the previously announced LTTX. On August 14, the patient was quarantined at Quyet Thanh Hotel and the first sample was negative. On August 17, the patient's second sample was sent to CDC, and on August 18, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
