Temporarily block and take samples for testing of all traders at Hung Dung market
(Baonghean.vn) - The Covid-19 infected patient is a fishmonger at Hung Dung market (Vinh city), therefore, this market has been temporarily locked down.
On August 21,Hung Dung wardhas directed the authorities to temporarily block off Hung Dung market due to the appearance of a Covid-19 infection case at the market. All entrances and exits to the market have been closed and there are authorities on duty. People and traders have stopped all trading activities at this market.
After the blockade, all traders at Hung Dung market were tested for SARS-CoV-2 virus antigen by local authorities in coordination with Vinh City Medical Center. The total number of traders tested was 430. Initial results showed that all traders had positive results.negative 1st timewith Covid-19.
After completing the rapid test, traders at Hung Dung market were allowed to collect their goods and return home. While at home, they should minimize contact with others and if they have symptoms such as fever, cough, or difficulty breathing, they should immediately report to the nearest medical facility.
It is known that depending on the actual situation, Hung Dung ward will ask for Vinh city's opinion to reopen the market at the appropriate time.
Previously, a fishmonger at Hung Dung market, Ms. NTH, born in 1969, residing in Nghi Thuy ward, Cua Lo town, was infected with Covid-19. According to initial epidemiological investigation, Ms. H. took fish from Cua Lo to sell at Hung Dung market every morning from 7am to 10am. Currently, cases in close contact with the patient have been quarantined according to regulations.
