Que Ngoc Hai scores, Vietnam team wins big against Malaysia team

Van Duc had a chance to finish close to the goal after a mistake by Hakim Hassan, but this goalkeeper promptly blocked it.

Under the great pressure created by the home team, the Malaysian strikers could not keep their composure. Azam Azmi received a red card after colliding with Doan Van Hau in the penalty area, the referee awarded Vietnam a penalty. In the 11m penalty shootout, Que Ngoc Hai easily defeated goalkeeper Hazmi, doubling the gap for Vietnam.

After scoring the second goal, coach Park's players played with great excitement, creating high-tempo attacks and forcing the opponent into a difficult defense. If they had been luckier, Tien Linh or Hung Dung could have increased the score for the Vietnamese team. However, Hoang Duc then pleased coach Park with an artistic goal. From Quang Hai's through ball that brought the Viettel midfielder face to face with the goalkeeper, this player made a gentle kick to defeat Hazmi. The score was raised to 3-0 for Vietnam. This was also the final score of the match.
