The National Assembly discussed socio-economic issues, the State budget, and Covid-19 prevention and control.
(Baonghean.vn) - On November 9, in the second session, under the direction of Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai, the National Assembly continued to discuss in the hall about socio-economic reports, the State budget and the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.

Accordingly, the 6th National Assembly continued to discuss the results of the implementation of the 2021 socio-economic development plan; the projected socio-economic development plan for 2022; the report on the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic and the implementation of Resolution No. 30/2021/QH15 on the first session of the 15th National Assembly.
The implementation of the State budget in 2021, the State budget estimate, the central budget allocation plan in 2022 and the 3-year State budget-finance plan for 2022-2024 (including the addition of the estimate of revenue and expenditure of foreign aid capital in 2021 of Quang Nam province; postponing the time of reforming the salary policy). It is expected that members of the Government will speak to explain and clarify a number of issues raised by National Assembly deputies.
Previously, on November 8, 2021, the National Assembly began the first working day of the second session in a concentrated form at the National Assembly House, Hanoi Capital.
The National Assembly spent the whole day discussing the above contents with 60 opinions expressed by National Assembly deputies, in which the majority of opinions agreed with the Government's report and the verification reports of the National Assembly Committees. In addition, the deputies also focused on giving opinions on specific contents.

Regarding the results of the implementation of the 2021 socio-economic development plan; the expected socio-economic development plan for 2022, the majority of delegates focused on discussing the implementation of general goals and key indicators; tasks and solutions for socio-economic development in 2022; the work of building and perfecting institutions and organizing law enforcement; organizing the State apparatus; administrative reform; regional economic growth; developing the marine economy; restructuring the economy; macro policies; credit policies; bad debt; development investment; agriculture and rural development; industry, construction; services, tourism; trade, import and export; enterprises, investment and business environment; prices, inflation.
Delegates also gave many opinions on ensuring social security, hunger eradication and poverty reduction; gender equality; healthcare, protection and care for people's health; labor, employment, income; ethnic affairs; education and training; science, technology, digital transformation; management of resources, land, planning, urban development; practicing thrift, fighting waste; application of science and technology; human resources; development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas; increasing the rate of workers participating in social insurance;...
Regarding the report on the work of preventing and controlling the Covid-19 epidemic and the implementation of Resolution No. 30/2021/QH15 on the first session of the 15th National Assembly, the opinions of the delegates focused on analyzing and evaluating the achieved results, pointing out the shortcomings and limitations and proposing practical solutions to improve the effectiveness of the work of preventing and controlling the epidemic in specific areas such as: direction, administration, and issuance of documents, including the application of specific measures and mechanisms in preventing and controlling the Covid-19 epidemic and decentralization in the work of preventing and controlling the Covid-19 epidemic; medical work (human resources, grassroots health care, vaccines, Covid-19 vaccination, treatment system, strengthening emergency and treatment capacity for Covid-19 patients...).
