The National Assembly discussed some contents of the draft Law on Mobile Police.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 26, under the direction of Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong, the National Assembly listened to the Report on explanation, acceptance and revision of the draft Law on Mobile Police, and at the same time discussed in the hall about a number of contents with different opinions of the draft Law on Mobile Police.

The Law on Mobile Police stipulates the position, functions, tasks, powers, organization and operation of the Mobile Police; ensures operating conditions, regimes and policies for the Mobile Police; and responsibilities of relevant agencies, organizations and individuals.

The Draft Law on Mobile Police was first commented on by the National Assembly at the 2nd Session, with a total of 299 opinions expressed.

After the session, based on the opinions of the National Assembly deputies, the National Assembly Standing Committee directed the Standing Committee of the National Defense and Security Committee to closely coordinate with the drafting agency and relevant agencies to study, explain, absorb, and revise the draft Law, organize seminars, seek opinions from experts and scientists, and complete the document to send to the National Assembly deputies, the Ethnic Council, the National Assembly Committees and the Government for comments.

On the basis of fully collecting, focusing on research, and maximally absorbing the opinions of National Assembly deputies, many contents of the draft Law have been revised, perfected, and made more specific and clear. The draft Law submitted this time consists of 5 chapters and 33 articles, covering the following contents: general provisions; tasks, powers, organization and operation of the Mobile Police; ensuring the operation and regime and policies for the Mobile Police; State management and responsibilities of agencies, organizations and individuals towards the Mobile Police; and implementation provisions.

At the working session this morning, after listening to the National Assembly Standing Committee member, Chairman of the National Assembly's Defense and Security Committee Le Tan Toi present the Report on explanation, acceptance and revision of the draft Law on Mobile Police, the delegates focused on discussing and giving opinions on issues with many different opinions such as the concept of armed measures, tasks and powers of mobile police, mobilization of people, civilian equipment... and other issues of interest to the delegates.

After that, the submitting agency and the agency in charge of the review coordinated to explain and clarify a number of issues raised by National Assembly deputies. In the agenda of the 3rd Session, the Mobile Police Law Project is one of the 5 draft laws submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and approval.

Previously, in the working program on the morning of May 26, the National Assembly listened to the Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong, authorized by the Prime Minister, present the Draft Law on Inspection. Chairman of the National Assembly's Law Committee Hoang Thanh Tung presented the Report on the examination of this draft law.
