Along with reviewing and commenting on draft laws, on May 23, the National Assembly will discuss in groups the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and state budget in the first months of 2025.
According to the agenda of the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly, on Friday morning (May 23), the National Assembly discussed in groups the supplementary assessment of the results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget in 2024; the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget in the first months of 2025.
Also in the morning, the National Assembly will discuss in groups the approval of the 2023 state budget settlement; the supplement to the regular expenditure budget (foreign non-refundable aid) in 2025; the transition to applying a number of specific mechanisms and policies that have been permitted by the National Assembly to be implemented in a number of localities after restructuring the apparatus and expanding administrative boundaries according to the Party and State's policies; the practice of thrift and anti-waste in 2024; and the results of implementing the national goal of gender equality in 2024.
Afternoon,The National Assembly discussed in the hall the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Bidding; Law on Investment under the public-private partnership model; Law on Customs; Law on Export Tax and Import Tax; Law on Investment; Law on Public Investment; Law on Management and Use of Public Assets.
