National Highway 1A: Continuous accidents occurred at night, many victims hospitalized

(Baonghean.vn) - On the night of April 15, on National Highway 1A (through Dien Chau and Quynh Luu districts), two serious traffic accidents occurred in succession, resulting in many victims being hospitalized, and four cars being deformed and severely damaged.

Accordingly, at about 10:20 p.m., on National Highway 1A, passing through Dien Chau intersection, Dien Chau district, there was a collision between a black 4-seat Camry car with license plate: 37A-04277 and a truck with license plate: 82R-00185.

The head-on collision caused the 4-seater car to be dragged by the truck about 15m before stopping. The car's body was crushed and severely damaged. The victims in the car were promptly taken to the emergency room by local people.

Then, at around 10:40 p.m., on National Highway 1A, at km 396+500, through Quynh Van commune, Quynh Luu district, two trucks with license plates 37C - 03558 and 37C - 51912 collided head-on.

As a result, both vehicles were deformed and severely damaged. The number of casualties has not yet been determined.

After the accident, many curious drivers and locals came out to watch, causing local traffic congestion.

Upon receiving the news, Dien Chau District Police, Quynh Luu District Police coordinated with the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province Police to promptly arrive at the scene to protect the scene, regulate traffic and investigate the cause of the accident.

Currently, the cause of the incident is being further investigated and clarified by the authorities.
