Quy Chau: 5 years, 22 party members were disciplined

(Baonghean.vn) - Right from the beginning of the term, the Standing Committee of Quy Chau District Party Committee issued a project: Improving the quality and effectiveness of inspection, supervision and party discipline enforcement activities in 2011 - 2015.

Accordingly, the Standing Committee has coordinated with relevant departments and agencies to develop a comprehensive and focused Party inspection and supervision program, especially in complex and sensitive areas that are prone to violations, such as land management, mineral resources, banking and finance, and practicing thrift and combating waste.

During the term, Party committees from district to grassroots levels inspected 181 grassroots party organizations and 250 party members. Of which, the District Party Committee Standing Committee directly inspected 45 party organizations and 96 party members, and supervised 229 party organizations.

Inspection work when there are signs of violations is also of concern to the Party Central Committee. During the past term, the Inspection Committee from the district to the grassroots level conducted inspections of 76 grassroots party organizations and 133 party members with signs of violations. Through inspections, 88% of party members were found to have violated, with 22 party members having to be disciplined.
