(Baonghean.vn) - It has been 7 months since the pilot implementation of one-way streets on Dinh Cong Trang and Ngu Hai streets (Vinh City), but so far it is still not too difficult to detect cases of going the wrong way.

Violations occurred most frequently at the intersection of Thai Phien and Dinh Cong Trang streets. Many drivers exiting from Thai Phien Street chose to “take a shortcut” through Dinh Cong Trang Street to Hong Bang Street instead of going from Ngu Hai to Hong Bang. Previously, Dinh Cong Trang Street was often severely congested, causing many people to feel tired, especially at the gates of 3 schools during rush hours. Since the City People's Committee piloted the conversion into a one-way street, this situation has improved.
The pilot one-way street on Dinh Cong Trang and Ngu Hai streets firstly benefits the people and then also makes the city's traffic appearance more civilized and neat. Therefore, each citizen needs to voluntarily comply more seriously.
