According to the Plan: The campaign to inject additional doses and booster doses of Covid-19 vaccines is deployed in all communes, wards and towns across the province. The vaccines used are qualified vaccines from the vaccine source distributed by the Ministry of Health to increase vaccine coverage for the people.

The subjects of the supplementary dose are people aged 18 and over, ensuring coverage for all people aged 50 and over with moderate and severe immunodeficiency such as people with organ transplants, cancer, HIV, being treated with immunosuppressants or having been treated within 6 months; people who have been fully vaccinated with the basic dose of Sinopharm vaccine or Sputnik V vaccine... The type of supplementary vaccine is the same type of vaccine as the basic dose or Pfizer, Moderna vaccine. The interval between 1 additional injection after the last injection of the basic dose is from 28 days to 3 months. People who have been vaccinated with the supplementary dose are considered to have completed the basic dose.
The subjects of the booster dose are people aged 18 and over who have received the full basic dose or supplementary dose, ensuring coverage for all people with underlying diseases, people requiring long-term care at medical facilities, people aged 50 and over, people directly testing, caring for, and treating Covid-19 patients, and medical staff. The type of vaccine to be given the booster dose is the basic dose vaccine or Pfizer, Moderna, and Astrazeneca vaccines. The interval between 01 booster dose is at least 3 months after the last dose of the basic dose.
The plan also clearly states the requirements for receiving, transporting, preserving vaccines, organizing vaccination, ensuring vaccination safety, applying information technology to manage vaccination, managing subjects and vaccination facilities, communication work, managing syringes and medical waste after vaccination, monitoring vaccine quality and vaccination activities; clearly assigning the responsibilities of the Department of Health, the Provincial Military Command, the Department of Finance, the Department of Information and Communications, and the People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities in implementing the campaign.
