Quynh Luu: Arrested 2 subjects and seized nearly 407 kg of firecrackers

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 16, Colonel Tran Thang Long - Head of Quynh Luu District Police said: the unit had just arrested 2 subjects trading in firecrackers, seizing 406.5 kg of various types of firecrackers.

At around 6:00 p.m. on November 15, a reconnaissance team (Quynh Luu District Police) on duty on National Highway 1A, in Hamlet 2, Quynh Hong Commune, discovered and caught red-handed two subjects Tran Trung Tam, born in 1986, and Dinh Van Trung, born in 1994, both residing in Dien Phong Commune (Dien Chau District), transporting illegal fireworks for sale.

Quynh Luu district police checked the evidence which was various types of firecrackers.

At the scene, 11.5 kg of “monk” type firecrackers were seized. Through the investigation, the task force searched the homes of the above subjects and discovered that 395 kg of firecrackers were hidden in Tran Trung Tam’s home.

Fireworks originated in China.

The total seized evidence was 406.5 kg of various types of firecrackers. The case is currently being further investigated and clarified by the Quynh Luu District Police.
