Quynh Luu completes general survey of enterprises and administrative and public service sectors

(Baonghean.vn) - Working with the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district on the afternoon of July 6 about the progress of the 2017 Economic Census, members of the Provincial Economic Census Steering Committee suggested that the district should step up propaganda and mobilization work to complete the survey on schedule.

Implementing Decision No. 1672/QD-TTg dated August 26, 2016 of the Prime Minister on organizing the 2017 Economic Census, from the beginning of April 2017 to now, Quynh Luu district has done a good job of preparing for professional investigation training; selecting investigators, team leaders; making lists; means and documents for the investigation, thereby creating favorable conditions for the 2017 Economic Census.

Up to this point, Quynh Luu district has completed the first phase of the general census, with a total of 505 enterprises and 295 administrative and public service blocks.

From July 1, Quynh Luu district has implemented the second phase of the General Census. The statistical list shows that the whole district has 16,558 individual establishments and 63 religious establishments. By July 5, Quynh Luu has completed 16.7% of individual establishments and 15.6% of religious establishments.

According to the Quynh Luu Statistics Office, the biggest difficulty in the process of the General Economic Census is that some non-state enterprises have not actively cooperated with investigators in providing information. Some individual establishments are reluctant to provide information to investigators for fear of tax increases. Collecting information in some religious groups is still difficult.

By the end of July, the Standing Team assisting the District Steering Committee will conduct acceptance and inspection of 100% of the survey forms of the assigned communes and towns and hand them over to the District Steering Committee to ensure timely completion.

In order to achieve high results in phase 2, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Anh - Deputy Director of the General Statistics Office, member of the Provincial Steering Committee acknowledged the high results of the Town in the past time for doing well the 2017 Economic Census of phase 1, and at the same time said that Quynh Luu has the second largest number of individual establishments in the province, so the local government needs to pay more attention to complete the census on schedule.

The delegation hopes that Quynh Luu will do a good job in mass mobilization, promote propaganda work, and have the most optimal plan for members of the district's support team to conveniently collect information at religious groups.

The leaders of the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district also determined that the 2017 General Economic Census is the task of the local government, so in the coming time, the district will actively participate and direct members to complete the survey on schedule./.
