Launching propaganda campaign against firecrackers and traffic safety

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 25, the Standing Committee of Vinh City Youth Union organized a launching ceremony to propagate firecracker prevention and traffic safety for the Spring of Mau Tuat 2018.at Nguyen Truong To High School.

Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; City Youth Union; Executive Committee of the Youth Union of affiliated units; Vinh City Police Union; Board of Directors, teachers and more than 1,100 union members and youth of Nguyen Truong To High School.

This is an annual activity of the Vinh City Youth Union Standing Committee with the aim of widely disseminating to the city's Youth Union cadres documents regulating traffic safety and order; decrees on the prohibition of the production, sale, storage and illegal use of fireworks and "sky lanterns"; legal regulations on the prevention of social evils and crimes. Through that, raising awareness of voluntary compliance with the law for each Youth Union member.

The Standing Committee of the City Youth Union has requested that Youth Union bases and branches strictly implement the following contents: Absolutely do not produce, store, trade, transport and burn fireworks, firecrackers, release "sky lanterns" and at the same time propagate and mobilize relatives and families to do so.

If you discover any intentional violations of regulations on firecracker prevention, immediately report them to the nearest police station. Ensuring traffic safety contributes to raising people's awareness of law enforcement on traffic safety.
