(Baonghean.vn) - Time has come to the end of 2020, the weather has entered winter with cold winds, the Covid-19 epidemic has been controlled. It can be said that this is the ideal time to return to the villages of Nghe An to enjoy the sweet fruits and admire the fragrant flower fields.

Taste the sweetness of the barren land

Winter has knocked on every door, the first cold of the season makes us want to leave the city, go to the countryside to immerse ourselves in the scenery, dispel the worries of daily life. A year of facing epidemics, natural disasters, storms and floods, this is the time when people need to relax, rest to recharge their energy, and prepare for the next journey.

Nghe An has long been known for its harsh weather, from drought to storms and floods, and then the constant cold. However, the people here do not give up, but on the contrary, always have the will to rise up to reap the sweet fruits.

Rose gardens, orange gardens, guava gardens, avocado gardens… laden with fruit, vast flower fields and sheep, ostrich and cow farms in the countryside are vivid evidence of the bravery and will of the people of Nghe An. And these places have long become ideal destinations for tourists, to immerse themselves in the beautiful and vibrant scenery.

At this time, orange and guava gardens... begin to ripen, inviting visitors from near and far to come and enjoy. After a scorching summer and days of torrential rain, the oranges still cling to the trunks and branches and are full of sweetness. It seems that the harshness of the weather and climate has made the orange trees resilient to preserve their vitality and keep the sweet fruit for life.

Therefore, many localities in Nghe An have planned and developed other fruit trees besides oranges, helping people bring in a large source of income. The brands of Xa Doai oranges (Nghi Loc), Vinh oranges, Phu Quy oranges and Con Cuong oranges have long been famous both inside and outside the province. Depending on soil and climate conditions, oranges are a brand in each region, Nghe An in general and other fruit trees have different flavors, creating unique characteristics.

Life is getting better and better, instead of buying oranges at the market and supermarket, many people go to the farm to pick oranges themselves and enjoy the sweet taste. On this occasion, orange farms in Nghi Dien (Nghi Loc), Dong Thanh (Yen Thanh), Yen Khe (Con Cuong), Minh Hop (Quy Hop) and Nghia Binh (Nghia Dan) and Nghia Phu avocado (Nghia Dan), Nghia Lam and Nghia Son guava gardens (Nghia Dan) welcome thousands of tourists to visit and enjoy.

Coming from Vinh city, Mr. Nguyen Minh Hai shared: “During the year, my family’s travel plans failed several times due to the outbreak of the epidemic and prolonged rain and floods. At the end of the year, everything was favorable, my friends and I took our family to Phu Quy area to experience the fruit farms, get close to nature and learn more about the lives of farmers.”

According to Mr. Hai, walking among the vast orange and guava farms, picking ripe oranges and guavas by hand and enjoying the sweet taste is really interesting, completely different from enjoying them at home. More importantly, it gives a feeling of relaxation and intimacy, like finding the simple, rustic childhood years and getting rid of everyday worries.

Along with fruit farms, mixed farms and sheep, ostrich and cow farms in Thai Hoa town and Quynh Luu and Yen Thanh districts are also attracting many tourists to experience.
