Sacombank Nghe An brings 'Warmth of Spring' to poor children in the Spring of At Ty

With the desire to spread love, add joy and welcome the Spring of At Ty 2025, Sacombank Nghe An organized the program "Warm Spring" to give Tet gifts with a total value of 300 million VND to policy households and lonely children in Nghe An province.

Responding to the Appeal Letter of the Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee on donations and support for Tet care for the poor in the Spring of At Ty, on the afternoon of January 15, leaders and employees of Sacombank Nghe An directly visited and presented 100 gifts with a total value of 50 million VND to orphaned and lonely children at SOS Children's Village Vinh. The village currently nurtures, cares for and supports nearly 170 children from preschool age to young adults.

On this occasion, Sacombank Nghe An also donated 200 million VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province to help the poor and people in difficult circumstances celebrate the Lunar New Year 2025.

Mr. Pham Viet Duc - Director of Sacombank Nghe An said: In addition to maintaining effective business operations, the Bank has been making many practical contributions to social security work in Nghe An province. Specifically, Sacombank Nghe An branch actively and proactively coordinated with the Nghe An Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to bring Tet gifts to lonely children and the poor... Hopefully, Sacombank's heart will warm everyone's hearts this Tet holiday."

In addition to Nghe An province, the 22nd "Warm Spring" program was organized by Sacombank transaction points across the country and Laos and Cambodia with a total budget of 10 billion VND.

Over the past 22 years, Sacombank has spent more than 104 billion VND on charity activities every Tet holiday, demonstrating its responsibility to the community, its desire to share with those in difficult circumstances, as well as its long-term commitment to contributing to social security and local economic development of the bank.

It is expected that on January 17, Sacombank Nghe An will continue to visit, encourage and give 100 Tet gifts with a total value of 50 million VND to families in difficult circumstances in Nghia Mai commune, Nghia Dan district (Nghe An).

In 2024, Sacombank also implemented many meaningful programs for the community. More than 18,000 Sacombank officers and employees voluntarily contributed at least 1 day's salary each, thereby raising more than 12.7 billion VND to support the people of the North affected by Typhoon Yagi; awarded more than 4,000 scholarships worth more than 11 billion VND to studious and disadvantaged students across the country...

In addition, responding to the emulation movement "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" launched by the Prime Minister, Sacombank joined hands with the provinces of Bac Lieu, Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, etc. to build thousands of houses for poor households and policy families facing difficulties in housing.

Sacombank also cooperated with partners, agencies, departments, sectors, and organizations to provide funds to build schools, cultural houses, bridges, roads, and high-quality public toilets; programs to bring electricity, street lights, clean water, and wells to many disadvantaged areas; support hundreds of free eye surgeries, restoring vision for cataract patients; support costs and nutritional gifts for children undergoing cancer treatment in Ho Chi Minh City, and many other large and small volunteer programs and activities. The total cost of the program is more than 100 billion VND.
