Sacombank Nghe An gives gifts to poor households in Tuong Duong district

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 29, the working delegation of Sacombank Nghe An Branch led by Mr. Ta Quang Viet - Branch Director came to give gifts to poor households in Yen Thang commune, Tuong Duong district.

Also attending were representatives of the district Fatherland Front Committee, representatives of the Farmers' Association and departments of Tuong Duong district.

Yen Thang is a remote commune about 40 km from the center of Tuong Duong district. The commune has 81% poor households. Sharing the difficulties of the people of Tan Thang commune, Sacombank Nghe An has presented 50 gifts, each worth 1 million VND including cash and necessities for Tet to poor households.

This is an activity in the series of programs "Spring Charity Festival Binh Than 2016" organized by Sacombank across the country. Previously, Sacombank Nghe An Branch gave 39 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to poor households with special difficulties in Nam Can commune, Ky Son.

DOn the occasion of Lunar New Year 2016, Sacombank Vietnam spent 5.3 billion VND on charity, humanitarian and social activities.Sacombank Nghe An Branch was established in 2004. Over the years, the branch has spent hundreds of millions of VND each year to support the poor and carry out social activities.

The working delegation and leaders of Tuong Duong district took souvenir photos with the residents.

At the ceremony, representatives of the Party Committee, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Thang commune sincerely thanked the delegation for their attention and support and congratulated the Business Branch on its growing development to continue accompanying and supporting local activities in achieving the goal of hunger eradication and poverty reduction.

Representative of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuong Duong district presented 25 gifts to poor households in Yen Thang commune.

On this occasion, the Tuong Duong Fatherland Front Committee also presented 25 Tet gifts to poor households in Yen Thang.
