A woman gave birth on Highway 1A while returning home from the South by motorbike.

On the afternoon of October 8, the Hai Lang District Medical Center (Quang Tri) announced that the unit is calling on benefactors to donate to support the pregnant woman Tho Y Dung (21 years old), Tri Le Commune, Que Phong (Nghe An). Currently, Dung's entire family is being cared for in the quarantine area of this medical center. In addition, the whole family is also supported by doctors with food and necessary items because the couple had no money when they arrived here.

Before that, Ms. Dung was taken by her husband on a motorbike from Binh Phuoc to her hometown. There was also her 2-year-old son on the motorbike. After 3 days and nights, around 8:00 a.m. on October 8, when she arrived in Hai Lang district, Ms. Dung went into labor and gave birth to a baby girl right next to National Highway 1A. Upon receiving the news, the Hai Lang District Medical Center then dispatched an ambulance to take the whole family back to the center. Currently, the health of the mother and baby are both stable.
Talking to Nghe An Newspaper reporter, Dung's husband, Va Ba Sao (22 years old), said that 6 months ago, he and his wife brought their son to Binh Phuoc to tap rubber for hire. However, a few days after arriving, Dung discovered she was pregnant. After that, due to the impact of the epidemic, the couple also lost their jobs. 3 days ago, even though they knew they were about to give birth, the couple still decided to return home. "I owe too much here. I have to go back," Sao said, adding that after borrowing some money, the whole family got on the bus to return home. When they arrived in Quang Tri, they had no money left.

According to the doctors, Ms. Dung has no health insurance and no money for food. Medical staff have collected clothes and pants for the baby from other pregnant women to support this Mong family.
