(Baonghean.vn) - As a famous historical and architectural relic, after the recent heavy rain, Trung Can communal house in Trung Phuc Cuong commune (Nam Dan) has seriously degraded.

The communal house is a place to worship Duke Tong Tat Thang, the Four Great Kings, Cao Son Cao Cac... The communal house has 2 buildings: the lower hall and the upper hall. The lower hall is a 5-room house with a wooden frame carved with elaborate carvings. The communal house was ranked as a National Historical - Architectural Artistic Relic by the Ministry of Culture and Information (now the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in 1996. Over hundreds of years of history, Trung Can communal house has been renovated many times, the most recent being the re-roofing 7 years ago. Already degraded, after heavy rains at the end of September 2021 due to the impact of storm No. 6, the communal house was severely damaged. Mr. Ho Thanh Binh - the caretaker of Trung Can communal house said: The heavy rains in the last days of September have seriously degraded the communal house. Around the communal house, the roof tiles are broken and falling off in sections. Inside the communal house, there is a leak, water is flowing everywhere. "Immediately after discovering the incident, I went directly to meet the Vice Chairman of Trung Phuc Cuong Commune People's Committee to report the incident.
