Mr. Nguyen Van Duong - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Yen Thanh district said: After the recent rain, the water level in Ve Vung dam only increased by about 10 cm, which is not significant compared to before when there was only a water level in the middle of the dam. The reason is that the rainfall in Yen Thanh area from August 1 to 3 only reached 65 mm, just enough to seep into the soil, but not enough to flow into the dam. Therefore, not only Ve Vung dam but the entire dam system of Yen Thanh has not yet had water rising.
