Vinh University students distribute more than 400 free porridge portions to poor children
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 24, more than 15 students from the Faculty of Literature and Pedagogy, Vinh University, in collaboration with Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, organized the cooking and distribution of free porridge to patients and their families who were being examined and treated there.

Dr. Bien Thi Quynh Nga - Secretary of the Youth Union of the Faculty of Literature and Pedagogy, said: "Responding to the activities of the Vinh University Youth Union on the occasion of Youth Month 2018, the faculty's student union members contributed and personally cooked bowls of porridge for sick children and their families being treated at Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital".

In just 2 hours, more than 400 bowls of porridge were delivered to the sick children. It is known that the funding for this activity was taken from the contributions of the members of the Youth Union. This act has contributed to beautifying the image of the students wearing the green volunteer uniform.
