Nghe An students volunteer in the cold in the capital Hanoi

(Baonghean.vn) - Despite the cold weather below 10°C in the capital Hanoi, volunteers from the Nghe An Association Volunteer Team of Foreign Trade University still come to the unfortunate children inVietnam Friendship Village, Xuan Phuong Commune, Tu Liem District, Hanoi City - where many children living with Agent Orange live and study, and is also where war veterans come for medical treatment every week.

Tet Yeu Thuong is an annual volunteer program of the Nghe An Association Volunteer Team of Foreign Trade University, with the aim of bringing a complete and warm Tet to those in difficult and unfortunate circumstances in life. The activities of the Volunteer Team bring joy and encouragement to the children here in the cold winter days. The material value of the gifts is not much, but the spiritual value they bring is enormous. The innocent smiles of the children are the achievement and motivation for the Volunteer Team to continue promoting practical activities.

Although their bodies have many defects, some cannot speak, cannot hear, some will never see their parents,... they are still always happy, cheerful and always carry innocent, beautiful dreams...

This year, Tet Yeu Thuong is supported by the online education project Big School by Mr. Le Thong Nhat - the reformer of Math & Tuoi Tre magazine, founder of Toan Tuoi Tho magazine and also the father of Math (Violympic) and English (IOE) competitions on the Internet. The volunteer program with the message: "Happiness is sharing, is giving the warmth of human love.
