Department of Education and Training presented more than 500 gifts to teachers and students in mountainous districts.
(Baonghean.vn) - This is an annual activity maintained by the Department of Education and Training for many years. Through this, it has promptly encouraged and motivated teachers and students currently working in mountainous, remote and isolated areas of the province.
During 2 days (January 10 and 11), comrade Thai Van Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Education and Training, together with representatives of departments and offices in the Department, visited, presented gifts and wished a Happy New Year to kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools in the communes of Binh Chuan (Con Cuong), Nga My (Tuong Duong), Chau Ly (Quy Hop), Chau Phong (Quy Chau) and Quang Phong (Que Phong).

Although these are schools in remote, disadvantaged areas, with nearly 100% of students being ethnic minority children, over the years the schools have all strived to teach well and learn well, and many schools have been recognized as national standard schools.
Wishing the schools a Happy New Year, Director of the Department of Education and Training Thai Van Thanh acknowledged the efforts of the teachers to overcome difficulties, especially those who live in remote areas and are not afraid of hardships and are wholeheartedly devoted to their students.

In the current context, the Department's leaders also affirmed: The province and the education sector always pay attention to and care for mountainous education and try to create the best favorable conditions to develop mountainous education and gradually shorten the gap with other regions.
To improve the quality of teaching and learning, comrade Thai Van Thanh also suggested that schools need to continue to innovate in teaching, gradually forming in students the ability to self-study, self-create, and proactively solve problems.

On the occasion of the New Year of the Rat 2020, the Department of Education and Training presented nearly 450 gifts with a total value of 300 million VND to teachers and students of the schools. At the same time, wishing the schools a warm, joyful, happy Tet and many achievements in their work.
Previously, at the end of December, the Department of Education and Training also presented 90 gifts, each worth VND500,000 (for students) and VND1,000,000 to teachers in the mountainous district of Ky Son.
