Nghe An Department of Transport launched a campaign to support Tet for the poor in 2021

Responding to the Appeal Letter of the Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee on supporting and helping the poor to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2021, on the morning of January 8, Nghe An Department of Transport launched a campaign among all cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of Nghe An Transport sector to participate in responding and supporting Tet For the Poor 2021.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front; Le Van Ngoc - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

With the tradition and ethics of "Love others as you love yourself", in the past 5 years, the industryNghe An Transportmobilized cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, workers, organizations and individuals of Nghe An Transport sector to contribute to various support funds of over 11 billion VND.

The industry has built gratitude houses for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the industry through periods of especially difficult circumstances, presented "Union shelters" to 9 families, built 14 gratitude houses, etc.

Responding to the appeal letter to support and help the poor welcomeLunar New Year2021 of the Provincial Party Secretary on December 31, 2020 and implementing Official Dispatch No. 25/UBND-VX dated January 5, 2021 of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee on supporting the poor to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2021, the Party Committee, leaders of the Department of Transport and the Trade Union of the industry called on and mobilized cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of organizations and individuals in the Nghe An Transport industry to support. Accordingly, depending on their conditions, saving money, allocating welfare funds, ... promoting the spirit of mutual love, mutual support, donating, sharing, supporting and helping the poor to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2021 more fully, supporting the poor to rise up in life.

At the ceremony, leaders of the Department of Transport, departments, officers, civil servants, public employees and workers of the industry donated over 265 million VND.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Vo Thi Minh Sinh acknowledged, highly appreciated, and expressed gratitude to the leaders, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the Nghe An Transport sector, who are always the "leading flag" in the province's social security movements and activities.

Not only actively participating in the province's social security movements and activities, the Department of Transport is one of the units that effectively implement the policy of "Each agency and unit receives support for a poor commune" of the People's Committee of Nghe An province. The Department of Transport has helped and supported the poor border commune of Keng Du (Ky Son) with many practical activities to support materially and spiritually, creating livelihoods for people to eliminate hunger and sustainably reduce poverty.

The Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee expressed his hope that the Transport sector would continue to promote the tradition of humanity and affection, continue to have many social security programs and activities to support people in difficult circumstances so that everyone and every family can celebrate the Lunar New Year 2021 more warmly and together; at the same time, have many programs to support the poor in the whole province, helping them to rise up in life.
