Department of Transport surveyed and supported poor commune Keng Du - Ky Son district

(Baonghean.vn) - On May 29, the working group of Nghe An Department of Transport had a working session and survey to find a plan to support poor commune Keng Du, Ky Son district in socio-economic development.

Located 75km from the district center, Keng Du is the poorest border commune of Ky Son district (Nghe An). After surveying and understanding the local situation, the Department of Transport will invite experts to train people on livestock and crop farming to apply science and technology in production, select and sponsor some children of the commune to attend vocational training classes, coordinate with relevant units to invest in building a communication system, speed up the construction of power lines into the commune, support investment in building roads into the village. The Department of Transport will establish a Steering Committee to help poor communes of the Department and have long-term support programs.

On this occasion, the Department of Transport presented the Commune People's Committee with a television and gifts to poor students of Keng Du Primary School; Hoa Hiep Company Limited presented 30 sets of tables and chairs for the commune hall; Duc Minh Construction Investment Joint Stock Company presented 10 tons of cement and Minh Tuan Construction Investment Joint Stock Corporation in Thanh Hoa presented 2 sets of computers to Keng Du Commune.
