Department of Finance and units give gifts and support to students before the new school year
(Baonghean.vn) - On August 30, the Department of Finance coordinated with the State Audit Office of Region 2 and the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam - Nghe An Branch (BIDV) to visit Tuong Duong to present gifts to students in especially difficult circumstances and people in flood-affected areas.
The delegation presented Xa Luong 1 Primary School (Tuong Duong) and its students with 306 red flag shirts with yellow stars, 16 globes, school supplies, bookcases, more than 200 books, 8 gifts for students in especially difficult circumstances and many other necessities. Total value 40 million VND.
Xa Luong 1 Primary School has 306 students, mainly Khmu, Mong and Thai ethnic groups, 80% of whom are poor. Currently, the school is facing many difficulties, especially with regard to water.

On this occasion, the Department of Finance has completed the procedures to sponsor and help Lin Van Anh - a student of class 3C from now until he is 18 years old. It is known that Lin Van Anh has difficult circumstances, his father passed away, his mother left for the South, he lives with his elderly grandparents, who are a poor household in the commune.

On this occasion, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam - Nghe An Branch (BIDV) also donated 20 million VND to support Huu Khuong commune. This is a poor commune that suffered many losses in the recent floods.
Same day,Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation visited and presented 2,000 notebooks to 100 disadvantaged students at Nghi Yen Primary and Secondary School (Nghi Loc).
