The first Subaru Forester 2016 in Vietnam, price from 1.4 billion VND

Just launched at the Bangkok Motor Show 2016 on March 21, Subaru has brought the Forester 2016 to Vietnam, imported from Japan and sold in 2 versions including 2.0i and 2.0XT. The expected selling price for each version is from 1.44 billion to 1.66 billion VND.

Both versions are equipped with a 2-liter 4-cylinder engine, the 2.0i version has a capacity of 150 horsepower, maximum torque of 198 Nm. While the 2.0XT version uses a turbocharged engine for a capacity of 241 horsepower, maximum torque of 350 Nm.

The 2016 Forester features X-Mode technology, combining the Symmetrical AWD system with a CVT transmission. X-Mode supports rough, downhill and slippery roads, along with the 3-mode SI-Drive steering system. The 2016 Forester's suspension system is also improved with stiffer front cross members, reinforced springs and dampers.

Subaru also equipped the Forester 2016 with new safety features such as smart headlights that light up according to the steering angle. PIN code recognition locking system. Added VDC electronic balance system, hill start assist, safe braking when mistakenly pressing the accelerator, ABS brakes, EBD brake force support, BA.

According to plan, Subaru Forester 2016 will be introduced to Vietnamese customers at the end of April.
