The health of two Covid-19 patients treated in Nghe An is progressing well.

As reported by Nghe An Newspaper: On April 14, Nghe An received 224 Vietnamese citizens returning from Japan to undergo medical quarantine to prevent and control the epidemic.

On April 15, the Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Control took samples for testing from 224 citizens. Through testing, 2 cases were found to be positive for the virus.SARS-CoV-2 virusOn the afternoon of April 16, the Ministry of Health announced that these two cases were identified as patients 2766 and 2767.

Regarding testing activities for F1 cases related to patients 2766 and 2767, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh - Director of Nghe An Province Center for Disease Control said: 21 F1 cases of the 2 patients had the first test results negative for SARS-CoV-2.

Testing for citizens entering quarantine in Nghe An, today (April 19), Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Control will continue to take samples for the second test for 224 citizens returning from Japan.

Last night (April 18), the first test results of 226 citizens returning from South Korea and quarantined in Nghe An on April 17 were all negative for the SARS-CoV-2 virus. On April 21, the unit will continue to take samples for the second test for these citizens, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh shared./.

Previously, as planned, on the evening of April 17, Nghe An continued to welcome a flight carrying 226 Vietnamese citizens returning from Korea, after welcoming 224 citizens returning from Japan on the evening of April 14.

226 citizens returning from South Korea were divided into two groups: 78 people will be quarantined at Muong Thanh Con Cuong Hotel; 148 people will be quarantined at the Reserve Training Center.
