Tan Ky mobilizes human resources to support people in cleaning the environment after the flood recedes.
(Baonghean.vn) - As the water receded, people in Tan Ky district cleaned their houses and household items; schools were also supported in cleaning up to welcome students back to class after days of flooding.
Afternoon of September 29, water on theCon RiverThe water level has receded by more than 1 meter compared to yesterday, meaning that many houses and schools in Tan Ky district have gradually drained all the water. Local authorities have urged and propagated that people clean up wherever the water recedes, in order to ensure the environment and stabilize life.

Mr. Ha Van Tan in Dien Nam hamlet, Ky Tan commune said that yesterday the water was 1 meter deep in the house, luckily the furniture was placed high up so it was not affected much. This afternoon, after the water receded from the floor, the couple used a water hose to spray the mud out. The wet and muddy objects were cleaned and dried before being brought into the house.
"The entire flock of 15 chickens died because they were not caught and kept high up. What I am most worried about now is the 1 sao of winter corn that is knee-high and has been submerged by floodwaters for the past 2 days. If they die, all the care will be in vain," said Mr. Ha Van Tan.

At Dien Nam Kindergarten, Ky Tan Commune, this afternoon, local authorities also mobilized forces to support cleaning classrooms and teaching and learning equipment. Teacher Thai Thi Ly - Vice Principal of Dien Nam Kindergarten said: In general, teaching equipment and supplies were proactively placed high up by the school, so they were not affected. The most serious problem was that the floor, school yard and outdoor items were covered with a thick layer of mud, because the flood water was nearly 2m deep.

It was difficult for the teaching staff to clean up in one session, so the commune and hamlet mobilized forces to support cleaning and wiping down teaching equipment. Therefore, as the water receded, the cleaning was done, and teaching equipment was quickly repositioned.
