New Lao General Secretary congratulates the 12th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam
The General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party sent his thanks and warm congratulations to the 12th Congress, all party members and people of Vietnam.
This morning (January 23), comrade Vo Van Thuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, on behalf of the Congress Secretariat, reported to the Congress on updates on congratulatory messages from political parties, organizations and international friends.
Mr. Vo Van Thuong said that during the 12th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, in the capital Vientiane of the Lao PDR, the 10th National Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party - a close friend, comrade and brother of our Party - also took place and ended successfully.

On January 22, right after the 10th Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party closed, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong sent a special envoy to congratulate the success of the Congress and congratulate comrade Bounnhang Volachith on being elected General Secretary of the 10th Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party.
On this occasion, General Secretary Bounnhang Volachith and his wife sent to the 12th Congress and through the Congress to all Party members and people of Vietnam their sincere thanks and warm congratulations.
As of today (January 23), there have been 200 emails from political parties, organizations and international friends across continents sent to congratulate the 12th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
