Strengthening supervision and criticism of the performance of public duties by officials and civil servants

Do a good job of propaganda and mobilization

In the first quarter of 2019, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations actively propagated and mobilized people of all walks of life to compete in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws and policies; coordinated in organizing propaganda activities and mobilizing people to enjoy Tet and welcome the Spring of the Pig in peace and frugality; organized activities to celebrate major national holidays.

At the same time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations coordinate to propagate and mobilize people to proactively prevent and control diseases for crops and livestock, especially African swine fever.

At the same time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations focused on propagating policies on solutions to reorganize the apparatus, restructure the staff and civil servants of the political system at the commune level of Nghe An province to be streamlined, operate effectively and efficiently; implement Directive 05 of the Politburo, deploy the 2019 topic on building awareness of respecting the people, promoting democracy, caring for people's lives according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style...

At the conference of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, unions and organizations exchanged and discussed issues of public concern as well as issues that levels and sectors are focusing on leading and directing such as: the situation of early marriage in mountainous districts, support policies for farmers, disease prevention and control, the work of the Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels, etc.

One of the issues that has received special attention from the public in recent times is the increase in school violence. “School violence is currently a problem in schools. More seriously, this situation is becoming more and more common with increasing severity. Therefore, proposing effective solutions is very necessary,” said Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Huong.

Regarding the prevention of drowning for children during the summer, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Tuan Vinh informed that since the beginning of the year, 18 students have died due to drowning. Summer vacation is the peak time for drowning incidents, so the political system, all levels and sectors are requested to focus on propaganda to minimize tragic accidents due to drowning.

Acknowledging the results achieved in the first quarter of 2019, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Son noted that in the second quarter of 2019, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations need to focus on propagating and disseminating the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws to union members, association members and people of all walks of life; continue to promote the implementation of Directive 05 of the Politburo; organize activities associated with the celebration of Uncle Ho's birthday.

In addition, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations need to closely follow the situation of the province to promote patriotic emulation movements and campaigns; prevent and control epidemics in the area; and propagate to remove difficulties and obstacles in implementing key projects of the province.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also emphasized that 2019 is the "Year of Administrative Reform" of the province, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations need to promote the role of supervision and criticism of cadres and civil servants in performing public duties, promoting administrative reform.

In addition, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations need to review and filter the quality of their organizations to introduce sources of Party membership in implementing Project 01 of the Provincial Party Committee; urge the implementation of the targets of the Congress for the 2015-2020 term; proactively and comprehensively reorganize the apparatus in the spirit of Resolution 6 of the Central Committee (term XII) in the direction of streamlining but must be effective and efficient.
