Strengthening epidemic prevention at shopping malls, supermarkets, markets, and restaurants
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 24, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with the Department of Health to organize an online conference to disseminate instructions on implementing prevention and assessing the risk of Covid-19 infection at shopping malls, supermarkets, markets, restaurants and some policies in the commercial sector.
Attending the event were representatives of the People's Committees of districts, cities and towns; market management boards, directors of trade centers and supermarkets across the province.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Cao Minh Tu - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade emphasized: To ensure epidemic prevention and control work in service areas in the province, in the coming time, the Department of Industry and Trade will continue to conduct inspections and supervision according to the direction of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control; resolutely handle or propose handling of agencies, units and establishments that do not ensure the requirements for Covid-19 prevention and control according to regulations.

In addition to strictly implementing the regulations under Decision No. 5619/QD-BYT dated December 7, 2021 of the Ministry of Health, the Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade requested that localities direct the People's Committees of communes, wards and functional forces to handle and completely resolve the situation of small traders and people doing business and trading spontaneously,encroachment on roadway, sidewalkaround markets, densely populated areas.
Direct, urge and guide business and service establishments to develop and implement plans/schemes to prevent and control Covid-19 epidemic at the establishment.
Require 100% of business households and stalls in the service area to sign a commitment to prevent and control Covid-19 according to regulations. Regularly self-assess the risk of Covid-19 infection once a week according to the Instructions and update the status on the antoancovid.vn system.
