Strengthening the support of superior trade unions in implementing collective labor agreements

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 28, the Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to evaluate the implementation results of Resolution 01/NQ-DCT on Collective Labor Agreement in 2022, directions and tasks for 2023.

Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Chi Cong - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; representatives of the leadership of the Labor Policy and Relations Department, Provincial Labor Federation; Chairmen of Labor Federations of districts, cities, towns, Industry Trade Unions, Southeast Economic Zone Trade Unions, Chairmen of affiliated grassroots Trade Unions.

Currently, the whole province has 558business(including 4 fishing unions), 476 enterprises have Collective Labor Agreements. Enterprises that have established grassroots unions with Collective Labor Agreements account for 85.3%. Of which, State-owned enterprises: 30/30 units, reaching 100%; FDI enterprises: 32/39, reaching 82%; non-state-owned enterprises: 407/489, reaching 83.2%.

In 2022, there were 6 illegal strikes in the province. The root cause of the strikes was that the negotiation and dialogue were not really good. After the strikes were resolved, a number of enterprises revised and supplemented the Collective Labor Agreement, including many new contents that were more beneficial to the workers.

The Labor Federations of districts, cities, towns, and industry unions have made many efforts to meet the targets and quantity of Agreements according to the targets.Labor FederationThe quality of the Agreement has been improved, but there are still many Agreements that do not meet the wishes of workers.

Regarding the direction and tasks for 2023, delegates agreed with the target of having 100% of State-owned enterprises; at least 87% of enterprises and units with trade unions sign Collective Labor Agreements; striving to have at least 35% of Collective Labor Agreements reaching type A; 50% of Collective Labor Agreements reaching type B.

By 2023, 34 businesses are expected to increase the value of employees' meals to 18,000 VND/meal or more. For businesses that hire meal providers, the lowest value will be 22,000 VND/meal or more and included in theCollective Labor Agreementof the unit.

Discussing at the conference, delegates exchanged opinions on the following issues: Advantages and difficulties in organizing the signing of Collective Labor Agreements; developing union members associated with the development of Collective Labor Agreements; paying attention to resolving labor disputes; proactive inter-sectoral coordination to inspect implementation...

Concluding the conference, comrade Nguyen Chi Cong - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation acknowledged the results achieved in 2022. At the same time, he reminded delegates to closely follow the targets and tasks and well implement the solutions: Perfect and organize training for the Executive Committee of the Trade Union on Collective Labor Agreements.
