11 more trains added from Hanoi - Vinh route during April 30 and May 1 holidays

The railway industry will add 11 more trains running on the Hanoi-Vinh route during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.

Mr. Thanh said:To serve passengers during the holidays,From April 28 to 30, in addition to 6 fixed trains,Hanoi Railway Transport Company Limited has established 11 more trains, in addition to 6 fixed trains, departing from Hanoi to provinces from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang via Vinh station.

By the morning of April 28, all tickets for the April 29 train from Hanoi to Vinh were sold out, while there were still tickets available for the afternoon and evening of the 28th and the 30th. The number of passengers arriving in Vinh on April 29 was estimated at about 8,000.

On May 1, 2 and 3, the railway industry also ran 11 more trains from Vinh to Hanoi. Currently, 90% of tickets to Hanoi on May 2, 3 and 4 have been sold.

During this year's holiday, train ticket prices from Hanoi to Vinh and vice versa increased by about 10% on busy days.The railway industry has a 50% discount promotion for low-demand routes, such as Vinh to Hanoi on April 28, 29, and 20.
