National Assembly begins question-and-answer session at 9th Session: Focus on finance and education
On the morning of June 19, the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly officially held a question and answer session.

The question and answer session took place on June 19 and 20, broadcast live nationwide, with the participation of many members of the Government, focusing on two major groups of issues: finance, education and training.
On the morning of June 19, the National Assembly conducted the first group of questions in the financial sector. The questions focused on financial solutions for socio-economic development, ensuring growth targets, renewing traditional growth drivers, establishing and promoting new growth drivers; improving the operational efficiency of state-owned enterprises; solutions to support and promote the development of the private economy into the most important driving force of the economy; solutions to promote the attraction of foreign direct investment (FDI). Mechanisms and policies to promote and attract investment, and develop industrial parks and economic zones.
Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang was the one who directly answered the questions. Also participating in clarifying related contents were Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung and leaders of the Ministries of Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Rural Development, Natural Resources and Environment, Construction, Science and Technology, and Foreign Affairs.
On the afternoon of June 19 and morning of June 20, the National Assembly continued its questioning session with the second group of issues in the field of education and training. The questioning content includes: Current situation and solutions for developing and improving the quality of higher education associated with the requirement of creating high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of socio-economic development. Implementation of legal regulations on extra teaching and learning. Ensuring a safe, healthy and friendly educational environment; preventing and combating school violence; ensuring food safety and hygiene in schools.
Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son was the one who directly answered the questions. Also participating in explaining and clarifying related contents were Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long and leaders of the Ministries of Finance, Home Affairs, Health, Culture - Sports and Tourism, Science and Technology, and Public Security.
After the questioning session on two groups of issues, the Prime Minister or authorized Deputy Prime Minister will report and clarify further the contents of interest to delegates and directly answer questions before the National Assembly.
At the end of the questioning session, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man will give a summary speech and evaluate the results of the questioning session.
The question-and-answer session at the 9th Session not only clearly demonstrated the National Assembly's supreme supervisory role but also created positive pressure to promote substantive and effective actions in governance and management activities, meeting the legitimate expectations of voters and people nationwide.
