Create the best conditions for craft village workers to access preferential loans.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 29, the Provincial People's Committee held a preliminary review of 2 years of implementing the Project on vocational training for workers associated with job creation and development of small-scale industries - craft villages in the period 2016 - 2020.
Comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the conference. Attending the conference were representatives of the Provincial Cooperative Union; Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Provincial Vocational College of Economics - Technology - Vocational Training and related units.

The report at the conference said that after 2 years of implementation, the Project has achieved many results.
The province has built 14 more craft villages (achieving 100% of the planning target), bringing the total number of craft villages in the province to 153. At the same time, creating jobs for 5,688 workers, with an average income from the profession of 41 million VND/person/year. The production value from the profession of the villages reached 154.178 billion VND; The income value from the profession of the village reached 60.074 billion VND.

In two years, 1,138 people have been trained in professional expertise, pedagogical skills and vocational skills; 45 teachers have been sent to Malaysia, Australia, Japan... to participate in teaching key occupations that meet ASEAN standards.
At the conference, representatives of units and state management agencies pointed out the shortcomings in the two years of implementing the project, as well as vocational training for workers in craft villages in the past time.

Concluding the conference, Mr. Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said: To continue to implement the project well, in the next two years, the People's Committees of the districts need to pay closer attention to the reality and effectiveness of vocational training for workers, especially training in key occupations. At the same time, improve the quality of training to meet the requirements of preserving and promoting traditional handicrafts; introduce new occupations and develop rural occupations; strive to build 30 more craft villages by 2020.

Along with that, he requested all levels, sectors and localities to complete the target, training an average of 8,000 - 9,000 people each year. After training, 90% of workers will have jobs and stable incomes in industrial clusters, craft villages and craft villages.
He also requested financial and credit institutions and the banking system to create favorable conditions for craft village workers to access loans, especially preferential loans.
