Nghe An Spirulina is in the top 10 most prestigious brands in Vietnam
At the ceremony to announce the top Vietnamese brands in 2024, Nghe An spirulina product of Vastcom Company (Quynh Luu, Nghe An) reached the top 10 most prestigious brands in Vietnam.
As a pioneer in researching and developing top quality product lines with the support of experts from Japan and Europe, Vastcom Company has created Spirulina algae products at the largest algae farm in Central Vietnam, meeting domestic consumption and export requirements.
With modern farms and equipment, advanced technology, Vastcom produces 5 tons of dry Spirulina biomass and 2 tons of fresh biomass/year, in addition to 1 ton of dry biomass of fermented soybeans Natto Kinaza and 100 kg of dry biomass of Cordyceps.
The Spirulina algae production system uses microalgae biotechnology, including many stages from screening microalgae strains, multiplication at all levels, then mass multiplication on a large scale in closed systems, then in open tanks... These stages help algae gradually adapt to weather conditions and gradually increase their resistance.
The quality of Nghe An Spirulina algae has been certified as a "Good quality product" by the Department of Food Safety - Ministry of Health.
Spirulina algae product is currently a 4-star OCOP product of Nghe An, which won the First Prize of Nghe An Province's Science and Technology Innovation Award in 2020 with the project name "Completing the process of isolating, preserving strains, and cultivating technology of Spirulina algae products in Nghe An". The product was jointly developed by German scientist Prof. TX Franz - Peter Montforts to extract the essence and was supported in production by leading Vietnamese professors of algae.
