In order to tighten state management of the press and handle violations in press activities, on December 9, 2016, the Ministry of Information and Communications issued Decision No. 2208/QD-BTTTT on revoking the Press License of the Knowledge and Development magazine under the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Hanoi city.
Accordingly, on December 15, 2016, the Editor-in-Chief of Knowledge and Development magazine issued Official Dispatch No. 11312/CV-TC to the Department of Information and Communications of Nghe An province, announcing the termination of the operation of the North Central representative agency of Knowledge and Development magazine from December 15, 2016./.
