Local Government Law Training

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 5, Vinh city organized a training course on Local Government Law for Vinh city's judicial officers and chairmen of 25 wards and communes in the area.

The Law on Organization of Local Government consists of 08 Chapters and 143 Articles, was passed by the National Assembly at the 9th Session and took effect from January 1, 2016. The Law has specified the provisions of the 2013 Constitution and the Party's policies and orientations on local government.

Trainees were also introduced to some important new contents such as: Regulations on administrative units and establishment, dissolution, merger, division, and adjustment of administrative unit boundaries, principles of authority delimitation, cases of decentralization, delegation, authorization...

The training course aims to improve the skills and understanding of officials of People's Councils and People's Committees of wards and communes about the basic contents and some new points of the Law on Organization of Local Government for implementation, while strengthening the tasks of commune and ward leaders in the coming time.
